Introducing reopening guidelines

Issued by: Diversey

The COVID-19 pandemic has been tough on the hospitality industry, and in the lead up to reopening and getting back to work, we've all got a lot of questions.

After all, when your hotel is ready to reopen, it's not going to be the same as other times you've returned to work - with COVID, restrictions, and the 'new normal' to think about, things are bound to run a little differently.

In the Introducing reopening guidelines course, Diversey will discuss the key things you need to know about preparing to reopen; what to expect; and how to create and sustain a guest experience that feels both safe and welcoming.

By the end of this course you will be able to

  • Follow the four guidelines to support a successful reopening
  • Differentiate between normal cleaning and enhanced cleaning
  • Practice the five tips when completing enhanced cleaning tasks assigned
  • Wash hands before and after cleaning and disinfecting areas
  • Use and discard PPE
  • Recognize high-touch surfaces and clean them according to their frequency
  • Record compliance needs
  • Demonstrate reassurance by understanding a guest's journey
  • Apply the six key interactions with the help of a checklist for reassurance
